Nick Vizzoca, MBA
Nick Vizzoca is a visionary healthcare executive, entrepreneur, and thought leader with more than two decades of experience driving transformation across complex healthcare systems, nonprofit organizations, and global advisory environments. As the Founder of the GapZer0 Method, Nick is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations close the gap between success and fulfillment—bridging high performance with purpose-driven leadership.
Nick currently serves as Co-Founder and President of Derma Vivere, an advanced wound care organization delivering interdisciplinary, evidence-based treatment solutions in long-term care settings. His work focuses on improving patient outcomes while building scalable, sustainable care models that integrate clinical excellence with operational efficiency.
Previously, Nick served as President & CEO of the Center for Healthcare Solutions, where he led a transformative rebranding and growth strategy that increased membership by 85% in just 12 months. Under his leadership, the organization launched innovative platforms such as SDOHPro™, addressing social determinants of health and improving community outcomes, while significantly expanding funding and strategic partnerships across the healthcare continuum.
Prior to that, Nick was President & CEO of Vincentian Collaborative System, where he executed a remarkable financial turnaround—reversing years of losses into sustained profitability while expanding services, launching intergenerational living programs, and leading major capital and acquisition initiatives. His leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic included the development of specialized isolation units that treated hundreds of patients across Western Pennsylvania.
Nick’s earlier career at UPMC included executive leadership roles in critical care, enterprise-wide ICU operations, and corporate strategy. He led initiatives involving hundreds of millions of dollars in operations, spearheaded international telemedicine partnerships, and contributed to large-scale system expansions and global healthcare strategy.
In addition to his executive roles, Nick is a Strategic Advisor to international healthcare leaders, an Executive in Residence at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, and a mentor to the next generation of healthcare professionals. His influence extends globally, advising organizations across the United States, Europe, and Asia on strategy, growth, and innovation.
Nick is also an author and speaker, known for his ability to translate complex leadership and operational challenges into actionable frameworks. Through the GapZer0 Method, he is building a movement centered on intentional leadership, personal alignment, and sustainable success.
He holds an MBA in International Business from Point Park University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
